A child is often not seen as a world changer, yet history tells us that plenty of children changed and are changing the world! Jesus was and is no exception to that. He came as a baby and began changing the world for good right from the start! He then did something odd in his ministry…he challenged us to remain like a child. He called and calls us to remain childlike in our faith. We are going to explore Jesus’s birth in a way that reminds us of our need to remain childlike. He came as a child and there is so much truth in that.  Join us as we explore the birth of our Lord and Savior!

The Gift

The Gift is one of the most favorites events for women at AFC! The evening starts with dinner and dessert, worship and a devotion. Following this special time, each lady receives a gift…but not for her. Each gift is prayed over and each lady is instructed to take the gift and give it away when the Lord prompts her to do so. The stories that have come from this event are amazing! It is a great way to start your holiday season. Also, each table is decorated by a table hostess and prizes are given out for the top decorated ones and/or the most original ones. Expect to see some stellar table decorations!
