Journey Groups

Journey Groups @ AFC

CONNECT. LEARN. SERVE.

AFC offers two types of Journey Groups, Sunday School and Small Groups. We encourage you to be a part of both! Sunday School classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 10:20am. They are sandwiched between the traditional and contemporary services to make it convenient for you! Small Groups are offered twice a month and most dig deeper into Pastor Joe’s messages. Small Groups are much smaller and are held in homes. Start the year off right, and journey with others!

Sunday School

offered in person and virtually

We all need to be CONNECTED…

Amidst all of the changes this year, we have found it essential to offer all of our Adult Sunday School classes both live and via ZOOM. Relationships are so important in our Christian walk. We find great value in our Sunday School classes! Find a class and visit in person or click on the button and connect with a class via ZOOM! Sunday mornings at 10:20am…”see” you there! Please contact Sunday School Superintendent Bill Creel at creelb@comcast.net or the church office at office@afc.email for more information.

Small Groups

offered for adults of all ages

Discipleship is the lifelong process of growing in your walk with God for the purpose of becoming more like Christ. At AFC, our mission is to make disciples who are obedient followers of Christ.

As a church we are committed to the Great Commission to “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you”. (Matthew 28:19-20)

This mission is carried out at AFC by connecting with others in Sunday School classes and Small Groups.

Discipleship @ AFC:

Sunday School

Every Sunday @ 10:20am.

Classes meet in the lower level. Each class uses a specific curriculum that meets the spiritual needs of those who attend to engage its members in study, prayer, and fellowship.

Small Groups

Twice monthly.

Groups meet and discuss the latest sermon taught by Pastor Joe Dagostino. The goal of Small Groups is to make scripture practical so that it can be applied to everyday life.
