AFC Kids

Here at AFC, we combine the life-changing stories of the Bible, with fun-filled games and hands-on activities, so that your kiddos will have a blast learning and growing with us! AFC Kids is offered during both of our Sunday services, with additional age-divided classroom programming during the Sunday School Hour and activities Wednesday evenings, during regular programming times.

AFC Kids Instructions

Your kiddos, grades 1st through 6th grade, will remain with their parents/guardians in the adult worship service until our Lead Pastor, Dr. Joe, dismisses them. At that point, they are accompanied by our Children’s Leadership Team, and volunteers, to the AFC Kids Worship Center.

Please remember to check your kiddos in before the service, or follow them out at dismissal to check them in at that time.

Touchpoint Check-In System

At AFC, we utilize the Touchpoint Check-In System to successfully track your kiddos and ensure that they are delivered back to you safely at the end of our programming. Upon your arrival, at AFC, be sure to proceed to our Kids Check-In Station (a greeter will gladly assist you in locating it at the entrance to our AFC Kids Wing). A staff member will be there to register your kiddos, Birth through 6th grade, and print a tag for them to wear and a tag for you to take with you to service. Only the person with that identifying coded tag will be able to pick-up your kiddo(s), in that same location, at the end of services.

Ministry Safe

Programs that serve children and youth play a vital role in the lives of our children and in our community. Ministry programs help to develop each child’s intellectual, social, spiritual or physical capacity. As they serve, ministry leaders cannot forget their responsibility to safeguard each child, as well as those who serve them. Ministry Safe was created by legal professionals who are sexual abuse experts. After decades of litigating sexual abuse cases, Gregory Love and Kimberlee Norris founded Ministry Safe to help ministries meet legal standards of care and reduce the risk of sexual abuse by creating preventative measures tailored to fit the needs of churches, camps and ministry programs.

This is an internationally recognized system, that AFC has invested in to keep your kiddos safe. It involves a 5 part Safety Plan: Awareness Training, Skillful Screening Process, Policies and Procedures, Background Checks, and Monitoring and Oversight.
