Ministry to Women
When you picture the word ARISE, you probably think of the sun coming up in the morning, casting it’s spreading light over everything, as it coaxes the darkness to fade and eventually flee. As we, the women of AFC, arise in our intimacy with Jesus, the light that shines through us connects us to other women, who need the warmth and peace that only He can bring. Our desire is to create an environment that allows women to grow in their faith, but also in their relationships with each other. We are a community of women of all ages, reaching out to be in friendship with others.
Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

WOMEN'S TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY!
The Rooted Experience takes groups on a 10-week journey of learning and practice. Groups learn foundational Christian beliefs and practice the 7 rhythms of discipleship from the New Testament. The experience challenges and inspires participants to step beyond their comfort zone as they follow Jesus.
WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN FICTION BOOK CLUB!
Our next Women’s Christian Fiction Book Club will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 6:30pm. We will be reading Colleen Coble’s book “What We Hide.”

BIG things happen in SMALL groups!
Small groups are designed to help us grow deeper in our walk with Christ while developing relationships with others. Small groups help us connect with other believers while having fun, fellowship and just doing life together!
AFC offers several Small Groups just for women! We have both evening and daytime groups. If you are interested in becoming part of a Small Group, please contact the church office and we will put you in contact with our Small Group coordinator!
