Revival at Anderson First Church of the Nazarene

Revival at Anderson First Church of the Nazarene is always a special time in the life of the church and community.  It is an opportunity to refocus our hearts and spirits on what matters most: giving all of our worship to God.

This year, we welcome Rev. Jon Hauser.

Jon and Teri Hauser are dynamic, visionary leaders with a deep commitment to the local church. In 2000, they quit their jobs and jumped out in obedient faith, moving to Fargo, ND, to start a new church for people who don’t like going to church. With no experience, but great passion, they followed God’s dream of connecting 1,000s of people apart from God with Christ and a church family.

Starting with 3 people, Prairie Heights Community Church of the Nazarene grew to the largest Nazarene Church in the US or Canada…in a community highly resistant to new churches. Prairie Heights is regionally known as the church that simply loves people.

Jon is passionate about training Godly, effective leaders in the church and business community. He has completed leadership speaking, training and coaching contracts as a founding team member of the John Maxwell Team.

Jon and Teri grew up in North Dakota, meeting at a Nazarene church while students at North Dakota State University. Jon graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary while Teri worked in the World Mission Department at Nazarene Headquarters. Jon has worked as a consultant electrical engineer for over 20 years and is currently working remotely as the director of an engineering group. In December of 2019 Jon and Teri moved out of North Dakota and passed the leadership of Prairie Heights on to the next generation of leaders.

Worship will be led by AFC’s very own, Eric Billin.  Eric Billin is a worship leader and musician who has spent the last 15 years leading worship for churches, conferences and events throughout the midwest. Prior to joining the regular rotation as a worship leader for Anderson First Church (Anderson, IN), he served as a worship pastor and interim worship pastor for churches throughout Central Indiana. He is also a teacher. He is married to his wife, Jordan with whom he shares 3 kids – Brecken, Porter and Moxie.

Children’s services will be led by Rev. Tracy Stults. Tracy is a children’s ministry leader, part-time pastor and mother of four. Her and her husband, Nate, have both served on staff at Findlay First Church of the Nazarene in Findlay, Ohio since 2012. Since then, and actually long before then, Tracy has found many opportunities to serve and lead in ministry. Through this journey, God called her to prepare for full-time ministry and ordination.  Throughout this journey, she has discovered so many new ways of fulfilling her call, and hopes to share these amazing ideas and methods with parents and kids along the way!

Pre-Service Tailgating Meals

The entire family is invited to join in on the fun every weeknight before services.  Beginning at 5pm in the Community Center, we will be hosting themed meals for our church and community to enjoy.  Donations for each meal will be accepted and each night is filled with surprises.  This is a great way to connect with others.
